MEDAN – HUMAS USU: Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has shown a significant improvement in the global Webometrics rankings. In January 2020, USU was ranked 1,871st in the world and 8th nationally. By July 2020, USU had climbed to the 1,564th position globally—an increase of 307 spots in just six months. However, in the Indonesian Webometrics rankings, USU remained steady at 8th place.
USU Rector Prof. Dr. Runtung Sitepu, SH, M. Hum, conveyed this information to journalists via WhatsApp message.
"This is an outstanding achievement, as USU has improved its global ranking by 307 positions in just six months. I would like to express my gratitude for the dedication and cooperation of the entire USU academic community, which made this accomplishment possible," stated the Rector.
