From March 19 to 21, 2021, the Board of Trustees (MWA) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a Work Meeting at The Hill Hotel and Resort, Sibolangit.
The meeting agenda included:
- Approval of commission programs as the 2021 MWA Work Program;
- Approval of the USU Audit Committee Work Program by MWA;
- Presentation by the Rector of USU on proposed changes to the university’s organizational structure and governance;
- Presentation by the Rector of USU on proposed amendments to the 2021 Work and Budget Plan;
- Discussion of the draft MWA regulation on the Policy for the Establishment and Management of an Endowment Fund;
- Discussion of the draft MWA regulation on the General Policy of Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2021–2026 period;
- Monitoring of the learning process under the new normal conditions.
The meeting was attended by a representative of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the Director General of Higher Education Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng, and a representative of the Governor of North Sumatra, Prof. Drs. Syaifuddin, M.A., Ph.D.
