Inauguration of USU Vice Rectors for the 2021–2026 Term

Based on Article 30 of Government Regulation No. 16 of 2014 concerning the Statute of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and Article 55 of the USU Board of Trustees Regulation No. 16 of 2016 on the Organization and Governance of USU, the Vice-Rectors are appointed and determined by the Board of Trustees (MWA) upon the recommendation of the Rector.

The Board of Trustees accepted and approved the proposed candidates for USU Vice Rectors for the 2021–2026 term submitted by the Rector.

Accordingly, the Board of Trustees appointed the following individuals as USU Vice Rectors for the 2021–2026 term:

  • Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A.
  • Muhammad Arifin Nasution, S.Sos., M.S.P.
  • Dr. Apt. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, M.Si.
  • Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc.
  • Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P.

The Vice Rectors were officially inaugurated by the Board of Trustees on March 9, 2021, at the University Hall.
